. have been visiting Shirdi at least once in every year with my family. All my family members believe in Sai Baba. I personally have complete faith in Sai Baba. I would like to convey that the "UDI" offered at Shirdi holds a very important value in our house. We apply the same "ANGARA" everyday.This "Udi" has always been with us while traveling and during sickness. So please believe in " UDI" this is like a SANJEEVANI offered by RAM. I am sure " UDI " will keep you away from all the dangers/problems in life.Apply the "Angara" daily before leaving the house and before sleeping.Thanks. For such a wonderful site.Suyog Thorbole

Miracles of Udhi
. The two incidents, in my life, which I nar訃ate below are not only unforgettable & unbeliev苔ble, but are also absolutely true !The first incident: Relates to my health or rather want of it. In the year 1975,1 was affected with Diarrhea and dehydration and was, conse訂uently, bed-ridden for a long time. That pro衍onged illness and agony caused a lot of incon赳enience and severe weakness. Everything was upset and disturbed. The whole family life was thrown out of gear, as it was. Although, I was treated, by a number of eminent doctors, they were of no avail, as none of the doctors could diagnose, the actual ailment. My suffering contin赴ed, unabated, for more than forty days. I am accustomed to pray Baba, every day and night, from the year 1956, regularly. One day, I had feeling as to how couId Baba test me, for so many days. I grew rather desperate and on that particular night, before going to bed, I prayed Baba very earnestly and in all humility, as follows :?br />"Baba, if you are convinced and satisfied that I am your staunch and sincere devotee, don't trouble me and test me any further. I had enough of suffering. Kindly forgive all my sins, if at all, I have committed and help me and crure my dis苟ase". Unbelievable, though it may seem to be, a Sadhu appeared in my dream, that night and offered Thirth to me. On the very next morning, I was astonished to see that I was able to walk, on my own, which I could not do, for more than forty days and within another three or four days, I started attending to my normal duties, including my office work.The second incident: Relates to my life or rather escape from death. It was, after Sej Harathi at our Nallagutta temple, on a certain Thursday! was returning to my home, at Prend-herghast Road, where I was living then, on my Bajaj Scooter (150 cc old model). Suddenly an old man, who appeared to be drunk, blocked my way and therefore, I was forced to take a turn and went home, in a different route, which was straight. At the end of the journey, after taking a turn I entered my compound. Suddenly the scooter got automatically locked up and I fell down. Fortunately, I escaped, with minor injuries. Had that old person not prevented me, in the begining itself, I would have gone along the first route and my scooter would have got automati苞ally locked up, in one of the many turns, when I would have been going at a considerable speed. Just, imagine what would have been my fate !In both, the above incidents, I am fully convinced that it is HE, who saved me and my life. Whatever I am now and my family is today, it is only because of the mercy and grace of my god Baba. That is the reason, why I see all the "MUKKOTIDEVATHALU" in and through Baba & Baba alone !

I would like to share my experiences on the kindness and love showered by Shri Sainath Maharaj on my family."I have been visiting Shirdi for many years now and in fact try to visit at least once a year to take Baba's darshan.Out of all the experiences I would like to share some important ones wherein I felt it was Baba who has been in some form or the other to take care of us.After having completed my engineering and having worked for a good company for 5 years with reasonable growth, I changed my job in 1992 and that's when all the troubles started on the work front and even on the personal front with my wife seriously ill and in the ICU. I was with a 6 months old daughter to take care of and no money even to pay the milkman in a city like Mumbai as most of the money was spent on medicals and I also had loans for the home etc to pay off!My sincere prayers to Sainath Maharaj was to pull me out of this situation on the family front and also the financial and work front. Once my wife was declared out of danger with Baba's grace and His Udi; I went to Shirdi with whatever money was left to his darbar in Shirdi. I prayed to Baba to help us in these extremely difficult times and I had only Rs. 50 left with me which was my dakshina to Baba.After that day and till date, Baba has showered His blessings on us to address all the problems and as I am writing today from an international country where I am working; HE is with us all the time!My koti koti pranams to the Sadguru and with my prayers to Sainath Maharaj to keep His kindness and blessings on us and all the Sai followersShri Sainath Maharaj ki jai!"

July 30, 1998Dear devotees, Thank you for sending me the Sai newsletter. It is a pleasure to read about Baba. I would like to share a wonderful experience with all Sai devotees, which I had actually witnessed in 1996. I had a friend who was polio stricken from birth. In 1994, she met me for the first time and I was deeply saddened to see a young and beautiful girl dragging herself to the computer class. One day I mustered courage to ask her about her condition. She said she was always like that. Next day, I gave her a locket of Saibaba of Shirdi whom I absolutely revered, I asked her to wear it and I remember telling her that He will cure you. I lost all touch with her, once the computer course was over. One day, in JULY 1996, I heard from her and she broke the news that she could walk, run do anything with her legs. I was stunned, I have yet to see such a miracle happen, Baba inspired a doctor in Vellore, circumstances so happened that she went to visit her uncle in UP, India and she ran into this God-sent doctor. The doctor said he would like to operate on her, if the surgery is successful, you'll be able to walk again, otherwise I will amputate your affected leg and replace it with an artificial leg. She agreed and Sai spared her leg, the surgeon straightened her leg, all this may sound unbelievable but I have seen it with my own eyes. She is married now and what I feel is that all these years prior to wearing the locket, why no Doctor had ever suggested or even tried saving her leg? As far as I am concerned , it remains a sheer miracle of modern times. Sai Ram to all, I wanted to share this with all esteemed Bhakts' of OUR LORD SAI BABA OF SHIRDI. LathaI have been reading Sai Satcharitha, about udi experience of the devotees. Once my little daughter was crying all day and was not sleeping, whatever we tried. I applied udi to my daughter and put little in her mouth and she slept well (having faith in Sai), and realized how true was the experience of Baba's udi. Raghava Rao] Three episodes described under this section relate to members of an Indian family working abroad (UN). They are ardent devotees of Baba since long. Suddenly the housewife was in critical condition. The doctors diagnosed it as a case of brain tumor and advised immediate operation. They were apprehensive about the possible side effects, such as paralysis of some parts of the body. They contacted me for guidance and blessings from Baba. Baba indicated that the surgery should be performed on a Thursday, but as everything is scheduled in the U.S. the date happened to be thirteenth August 1991. When the first operation took place the surgeons could not reach the tumor site and the operation was stopped. Surprisingly, the follow-up surgery was performed on the following Thursday. It was successful operation with Swami's grace there was no side effects and she gradually recovered. The family members and self offered intense prayers during this period to Baba, both. Subsequently, she visited India (December 1992/January 1993). During this period Baba started indicating to me in meditation about the change of scenario in the health condition of the family members. I cautioned and also advised them to hasten up the marriage of their daughter as indicated by Baba. As forewarned by Baba, she had to undergo another surgery of a different nature when she visited India (June/July 1994). Udi was applied to the patient on the forehead before and after the operation. With the grace of Baba everything went well and the patient recovered to normal condition soon. With the blessings of Baba, things moved smoothly in the right direction and the marriage of the daughter took place in December 1994. One has to measure the benevolence of Sri SAI from His nature to forewarn the events befalling the devotee and other family members and protect them in time. Just couple of months ago, we were waiting for the birth of our first baby. Sumedha, my wife, had completed 37 weeks of pregnancy. It was the night of 19 July (Sunday) when she suddenly started feeling strong labor pains. Pains were so strong that she was hardly able to talk or communicate well. I took her to the hospital immediately, and soon her doctor and nurses were working with her. When the nurse checked her dilation, it was hardly one centimeter. This made everyone much worried because such a small dilation would lead to a long and very painful labor period. My wife was crying badly. Doctor immediately decided to give epidural (a strong pain medicine given through spinal chord) to her.
In such a panic, I remembered SAI BABA and asked for his help. I always keep a photo of BABA in my purse. I took that out and showed that to my wife. Immediately after that moment, I saw one of the biggest miracle of my life by SAI KRIPA. My wife's dilation, which was just one centimeter five minutes ago, suddenly became ten centimeter, which is just appropriate for delivery. Everyone in the room just jumped out of surprise. And, in next 5-10 minutes, the baby was out without any problem. So, SAI BABA helped her by giving her relief from the severe labor pain, and she was too happy after giving birth to a cute girl. Doctor and nurses, all accepted that they have never seen such a miracle in their lives. It was the shortest labor period they had ever observed for a first time pregnancy, just 30-35 minutes. And, we both knew that this all happened because of SAI KRIPA. I came to know BABA in 1994, and since then, I have felt that he listens to his followers and helps them in whatever way. I have personally felt his blessings hundreds of times. I remember one more miracle, which happened in 1995 to me when I came to New York for a new job. The day I landed in New York, I fell seriously ill and became very weak in just 2-3 days. At that time of distress, I prayed to SAI BABA and asked for his help. I also asked my BABA to take me back to Delhi to my family, although it was next to impossible because my employer had paid for my air tickets and was not ready to send me back to India. I prayed my BABA to take me back in next 24 hours, and said that I will go to Shirdi to thank him.
And, then this miracle came from nowhere. Suddenly, overnight everything was changed. My employer decided to send me back that too on his expense, and within 24 hours I was flying back to India. This was probably the first miracle of my BABA that I felt. And, when I went to Shirdi to say thanks to BABA, that place looked so familiar to me as if I have some kind of relation with it. And, I know there is a relation. BABA ne bhi kabhi kaha tha - jo mujhe jis bhav se pukarega main usi bhav se sununga. JAI SAI BABA.

BABA FREED SMT. SUSHILADEVI, WIFE OF SHRI BABUSAHEB SAKHARAM BABLE FROM THE CLUTCHES OF AN EVIL SPIRIT.....Three months after Shri Babusaheb Sakharam Bable marriage, his wife used to fall unconscious, clenching her teeth. He and his family were very learned and hence did not pay heed to other people advice that this occurence may be due to the action of some evil spirits. They spent a large amount of money on various treatments; but in vain.She used to remain unconscious for 18 hours daily and that increased to 23-24 hours in October, 1952. She was brought to Shirdi on 25th October, 1952. She was made to attend arati on 25th and 26th October by force. She was given udi and abhishek teertha to drink and made to prostrate before Baba Samadhi. In the evening, she fell down unconscious after the arati at the Samadhi Mandir. He and his family were very learned and hence did not pay heed to other people advice that this occurence may be due to the action of some evil spirits. I have had several miraculous experiences in my life and I attribute them to SAIBABA. I would like to share one of my recent experiences. Four months ago, I decided to take part in a race per one of my friend suggestion. She has had several years of experience in doing this race while this was my first. She was very much willing to help me with the training and she did. We had a great training schedule and it all went well until the last three weeks before the race. I started having problems that I did not know the cause of. I just did not feel even close to how I was feeling prior to this. In fact, it kept getting worst. I was really worried since my family and I had invested so much in me succeeding this challenge. Moreover my friends and colleagues were quite aware of me doing this and it was a question of embarrassment should I have to drop out. I did not know what I was going to do. All along, my friend and I were making plans to finish the race together. This seemed impossible since I could not even do 1/4th of the race without having problems while my friend was getting stronger every day. At this point, I talked to Baba, told him how important this is for me, and asked if he could help me. As always, like Baba says, "If you look to me I look to you", he immediately heard my prayer and I started feeling better. In fact, in the last issue of Sai Vichaar, I had read about how we don't need to take any medicine if we have faith in Baba- Vibhuti (udi). I stopped taking any pain-related medicine and until now, I have still not taken one, even after my race. We started our race and half way into the race, my pain started again. I told Baba to please continue to help me. Like a miracle, my pain disappeared. I had a desire to finish the race with my friend and she was quite a bit ahead of me so I had no hope that I would be able to. As I got close to the finish, all of a sudden I saw my friend next to me. I could not believe my eyes since she was so much ahead of me all along. We both finished together in the time we had desired. It was a pure example of another one of Baba's miracle. I can not thank Him enough for helping me and my family every every step of the way. Sai devoteeI have been a devotee of Baba since the time he wanted me and I have always had experiences which made mw feel that Baba is always near me guiding me. Last year I had a cyst in my hand, which I ignored for some time taking painkillers when the pain was too bad, slowly it grew in size and a doctor told me to operate the area and get rid of it. For some time I kept praying to Baba, why not cure mine without an operation, similar to the incident mentioned in Sai charitra wherein Baba helped one Dr. Pillai get rid of the guinea worms in his leg with the help of a "crow" Abdul. Thinking in this way I was walking around the house when by accident my hand hit the wall so hard in the cyst region that I experienced excruciating pain for a few minutes, not long after that I found the cyst had disappeared, the doctor told me somehow you have done the operation yourself and your hand is alright now. This incident happened a month ago still when I think of it tears come into my eyes and I keep thanking Baba for all that He does for me. I have a Daughter who is special but thanks to Baba and goddess Mahalakshmi she continues to surprise us and makes us proud. Of course His other prasad my elder daughter is every parents dream. There are numerous occasions on which Baba answered our prayers. One of those when my nephew as a 5 year old boy was struggling with a hairline fracture in the knee. Doctor told us to admit the boy in Hospital and recommended complete bed rest. We took the boy to Baba's temple and applied UDI to the knee. After 2 days we again took the boy to the hospital thinking that the boy would be admitted in hospital. Doctor noticed a great improvement in the knee and the sent us back with few medicines. The boy was normal and healthy soon.

I went to hospital with his spouse and two little kids. I silently prayed in the Heart that Sai if you are Here, You must Help to revive the condition of this patient. I took out the Sai Picture and Udi from my pocket, which was then mailed from one of the ardent Sai devotee in New Jersey, USA I requested the ailing patient spouse to place the Sai Picture on his chest and sincerely pray Lord Sai "Please reconcile the condition of my Husband and I shall be ever indebted to you". The lady did prayers and took a pinch of Udi and put it in his mouth. The patient was on intravenous and Oxygen pipes then with closed eyes. I prayed in the heart of mine "O Lord Sai, please shower your richest blessing on this traumatic and depressed family. Reassure your faith and miracles on this patient." Doctors are still waiting for countdown at this hour. Trust me, the miracle of Sai happened on the next day, the patient was able to move and open his eyes slightly, which gave everyone a ray of hope for survival.
Doctors declared that critical moment is gone now. He should revive in a couple of days. Since then I kept on inquiring about the condition of the patient, One week later I could directly speak to the patient in Hospital over the phone and was glad to hear his Voice once again, "Ravi I am improving now."If BABA had not showered his Blessings, the whole family would have been in distress by now. This is my own story which happned last year 2004, i may haverecounted this story but everytime i read about Baba's Udhi i feellike recounting mine.I was suffering my very strange kind of allergy wherein everytime iput in AC anywhere at home in the car or office i would have blockedbreathing ....this went for 1.5 years and in the last stages i wudresort to breathing from my mouth.one day in my office after a bad sleep the previous night as the sameproblem persisted breathing thru mouth is quiet disturbing....i had along list of tasks in hand but cudnt concentrate....i was desperate i had tears in my eyes as i bowed in front of Babaphoto in my desk....and i said"Baba all this while i didnt pray toyou to cure me of this problem i have as i know that you are awareYOUR daughter is suffering and if U havent intervened means the righttime hasnt come...and Baba i know its some bad karma i amsuffering.....so i wont ask U to cure me but JUSt gve me the shakthito bear this suffferng...and i added few piches of Baba's Udhi inglass of water and drank it.......i cant belive this even today when iput on the AC at home or in the car that i am breathing clearly...itreinforces my belief everytime that our Baba is our FATHER, MOTHEreverything.My only prayer to our Baba is let our bhakthi in you grow every minuteto the point where i dont ask u anything material but just you andyou.

At every crucial phase of my life Baba blessed me and made me cross those problems. Here are just a few instances. I have been waiting for a job for a year and I went for an interview in one of the top ten companies, I prayed to Baba before and after the interview that I should get the job. I was not interviewed much but I still got the job because of Baba's grace.
Later I also found out that I was the only one who was interviewed by just one person and for such short time and still was offered a job. My mother once had stones in her bladder and the Doctor told that he had to operate her. As I was not close to her I sat before Baba and cried and in a few days my mother went for a check up and the Doctor told that the stones somehow were crushed or melted so he does not have to operate her.
I left my son with my Mother and I was debating about whether to bring him back or not, one night when I was about to sleep and was thinking about it, Baba came and tapped on my head to remind me to stop arguing and go get my son as it is my responsibility. Every time I have a problem in my work and don't know the resolution, I sit in front of Baba and tell him about it and before I go to work the resolution suddenly dawns on me or somebody offers to help me. My only request to Baba is to give me blessing to attain the spiritual goal and I will wait until my turn comes.
I pray to Baba to give me patience to wait to be blessed. Thanks for letting me tell my stories and hope everybody learns to believe in Baba the Eternal Mother and Father

A Devotees Experience
I had a very severe back pain with both the knees pain. It was so terrible that i used to write almost daily for the past one week, in the Problem column. Dipika Sairam was so kind enough to give me a reply to take Udi with water and read Sachcharitham daily. The same day when i went home and was changing my dress, to my surprise a packet of Udhi fell down from my sari which was a great miracle and i had that udhi daily with water and when it was over i took Udhi from Shirdi Temple at Mylapore and had that daily as Dipika Sairam said everyday morning after brushing my teeth. Today is the fourth day and i feel much comfortable with no pain in the legs at all.Sairam ki jai !!!!!

A family used to live in Vikhroli area of Mumbai.All the members of this family were staunch devotees of Baba. In 1985, J.R Savant was only 15 years old and was studying in 10th class. Just one day before the examination Savant fell ill with high fever. He became extremely worried about his examinations and began to weep.Because of non-availability of the doctor at night, his condition became more serious.Smt.Savant was perturbed at her son's condition.She prayed to Sai Baba and applied Baba's udi brought from Shirdi, on the child's forehead and gave a part of it mixed with water to him.After taking the udi his fever abated and the next day he took his examination properly.After clearing this examination, he became a stronger devotee of Baba and always started reciting Baba's name.Inspite of the unfavourable stars of Savant, Baba cured him and made him clear the examination. Such are the miracles of Sai Nath and we will never be able to pay back his debts to this world.
