I do believe that your Sadguru will come in search of you and make you realize the purpose of your existence. This was in 2003, when my mother was admitted to the hospital for a blood transfusion. I distinctly remember that it was a Thursday and I had finished my puja at home and reached the hospital 10 minutes behind the schedule at 10.40 a.m. When my mother-in-law who had stayed overnight at the hospital to take care of my mother called to us frantically telling us that she had collapsed on the way to the ICU. By the time I reached the ICU, the doctors presented a very grim picture saying that my mother had been without oxygen for more than 8 minutes whereas a human being can survive at best without oxygen for not more than three and a half minutes.
They were desperately trying to revive her and said it was just touch and go. I called on my Sadguru Sai in my mind and told him that it was unfair that my mother should pass away without me having an opportunity to speak to her and get her blessings and that too when I had left her in his custody as I was doing my puja to him. I said to him that if he was truly my guru and if my belief in him had to survive, he had to get her back from the realm of the dead no matter what. I also told him that I knew my mother was not going to be with me forever as she was suffering from secondary of Cancer.
In what was truly a miracle my mother opened her eyes after 14 hours, came back and stayed with for 45 days giving me an opportunity to serve her and fulfill all her wishes. Infact the day before she passed away the doctors had said that she was hemorrhaging internally and may need a water bed as she was bound to suffer from bedsores other wise. I prayed to Sai again and said that I could not bear to see her suffer anymore and requested him to take her away from all the suffering and pain and grant moksha to her. The next morning she passed away peacefully. I have had many such experiences where I have experienced his benevolence and he is truly a master who cares!
