Sai Ram to all,
My name is Vimala Sudhakar and I was in the US for the past 13 years and recently moved to India.
I was not a big baba devotee until one day some one told me to read satcharita. I borrowed the book from my friend and read so that my daughter got into advanced math in school. I did not even have a pocket size picture of baba when I read the Satcharitha. I finished reading it and my daughter also got in the advanced math curriculum. Even then I thought it was a big coincidence and just prayed that someone should give me a picture of baba and I was not going to buy it on my own.
Months passed and this prayer was almost forgotten. Somtime in Sep 2006 my indian neighbor right across from us stopped by at my house (it was a wednesday evening) and she had a small parcel for me. She said she went to India and visited Taj Mahal and she brought a small momento for me. I accepted the gift and opened it and guess what, it was a statue of Shirdi Baba. I was totally shaken at this point and asked her why she bought this as she was not a baba devotee herself. She replied saying that for some reason the moment she saw this statue she wanted to buy this for me. What a miracle..
Since it was Wed evening, I thought I will put the statue in my pooja on Thursday. So thursday morning I placed the statue in my pooja and prayed that if I got this statue because of my prayers I should experience a miracle at work.( I was still thinking that I got this statue because of sheer coincidence). I went to work as usual and around 11 am my boss asked me to stop by. So I went thinking he is calling me for some work. The moment I went he closed the door behind and told me I got a 5% raise this year and this raise was given only to me as there was a freeze in the raise because the company was not doing well. When our raises are usually in May , why did my boss tell me about my raise in September particularly on that day when I prayed that miracle has to happen? Is this also a coincidence or a miracle by baba to pull me close to him?
